So this app can take a picture of a hand-drawn map to use, or let you photograph one from their web site if you print it out, but it cant include the pre-photographed and pre-parsed Web site sample maps so you can start playing immediately? You have to either get paper and draw (which other reviewers cite as problematic) or PRINT something to play a MOBILE game? Theres no reason this cant come with the free samples already ready to play and get you started. I fail to understand why a mobile game would require you to find paper before you can even see how to play.

It works better with the printed one. But for the person who said "for the sake of not wasting paper" youre really cheap. Great game btw.

When I try to play the game a window pops out and nothing happens after that. Please remove the stupid pop up window to make game playable.

This is really good. Bluetooth multiplayer options would be really nice though.

Its a single tower defense game that uses a card with dots that you can draw or print. The card is for AR (Augmented Reality). If you dont know what that means, get AR Defender and find out, its wild!

So because I have no black marker I cant play this? Why do I even need to draw it, well I cant find my black marker

Ok there are some flaws with the software, like of you tilt the iPod sideways then it also tilts the tower, and te buttons need to be more accessible. But everything else works great. For the drawn card, keep trying. It needs to be on grid paper, and the dots have to be big. If it doesnt recognize just keep trying. It take a little bit, but as soon as it recognizes it, it will always register every time. And dont let other apps run while your playing cause it will crash. If it still doesnt work, try reseting your ipod. Those are the tricks to playing.

I enjoy this concept. I think youre really on to something. Other reviewers say that drawing on a grid makes it pointless, but you could draw a working grid on a post it. It just takes a good eye for detail. Keep up the good work. I hope to see this go somewhere, like upgrades, more weapons, etc.

Its so much fun. Almost like a party game. Very entertaining.

AR Tech is awesome, I have the wallet size cutout. I want to make one to put up on a wall like a poster. That.. Would be an EPIC Game!

I used to love this game (previously 5 stars)... But only 2 stars until they update it so it works properly on iOS 6.

Simple, clever, fun! I still have an iPod 4g, but this tuns smooth and clean! Other AR apps I try lag and overall just dont work; this one does! Its quite fun, too!

I dont normally rate but this app is great trust me except for the left side of the camera being on the right

You STILL cant play without pointing your camera at a pattern, which makes for awkward -- and less fun -- gameplay. You should be able to choose a PHOTO of an AR world or pattern and play using that, and not require the awkwardness and battery drain of the camera.

This is a fun game with good graphics. Definitely a game to show off how cool your iPhone or iPad is. :) But the development of this game is excruciatingly slow. Its sad. They finally implemented Game Center and yet they didnt even bother to put achievements in, only leader boards, despite the fact you do earn achievements in the game. Boo! There are graphics issues on the iPad at the very man menu. How did this pass testing?? I want to love this game, but it keeps disappointing.

2 stars because the building and aim are off. Used to be a great game, needs to be updated.

Was really fun, but now the tower displays about an inch away from the mark. Please update to fix this! Thank you.

Took them way too long to release an update. It is a good game though.

It need an update. Tower is not on top of the tag.
